El Cardonal is a gem! This fisherman’s village along the sea of Cortez is lovely and peaceful. The surroundings have a rustic charm with natural desert beauty and breathtaking views of the sea and Mountains.

There is plenty to see and to do, for to mention some activities, hiking, horseback riding, photography, star gazing, ideal for any water sport such as kayak, paddle board, kiteboarding, fishing, snorkeling, diving and much, much more. Even a walk by the beach where you can meet sea turtles at their nest or watch whales playing at the distance.

El Cardonal area has CFE electricity and municipal water service, as well as great internet connection through some private companies, restaurants, elementary school, an ambulance and local stores.  

With a paved road and coast road access El Cardonal is conveniently located only 30 minutes driving north of Los Barriles, in the East Cape.
